Hi,
I'm Tia.
My passion in life has been photography since I was a freshman in high school at Beaver River. I grew up on a farm so I had always had a deep love and connection with animals and the outdoors. I got a camera and got to work with what I loved. I started to develop my skills more when I entered Digital Photography class my freshman year and continued for the following sophomore year. In my junior and senior year I attended Howard G. Sackett Technical Center for Visual Communications where I learned even more about photography, as well as graphic design and many other things. Through my technical school I was able to join SkillsUSA where I got to compete against other SkillsUSA members in photography. Since I have graduated I have continued to take photos and continue to guide myself in the art of photography.
Creating powerful imagery.
My goal is to show people the beauty of the world. Not everyone is able to go out each day and enjoy the scenery, the wildlife, the peacefulness that the world has to offer. I want to offer those things to everyone who doesn't have that ability through my photos.
Nature based photos are my strong suit, and I enjoy them the most because they bring me peace of mind and I enjoy the challenge that the animals and the earth offer. You have to be patient to get the shot that you want. However I do enjoy outdoor portraiture as well. I love to see the chemistry between couples, sweet moments within families; in person and in the photos, as well as the simplicity of doing a one person shoot.
